Fight against drug use and trafficking in 1 Division: 06 individuals arrested
The Eseka Gendarmerie Company broke up a drug trafficking ring, with the support of elements from Platoon 124.

This operation took place on the night of 07 to 08 December 2024, leading to the arrest of 06 drug dealers in Gompe 1, a neighbourhood of Eseka.

The questioning of the suspects made it possible to uncover a large field of cannabis that was hidden in a banana plantation in Njock village.

Aged between 29 and 42, these 06 criminals, including a woman, are undergoing interrogation at the Eseka Gendarmerie Company where an investigation is ongoing.

It is worth noting that the search of the suspects’ homes led to the seizure of a significant amount of cannabis.

The Commander of the Eseka Gendarmerie Company is committed to curb down drug trafficking to its barest minimum in his jurisdiction. Therefore, he urges further collaboration with the population in order to address all forms of insecurity.
