It is with deep sorrow that the Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence, in charge of the National Gendarmerie, announces the death of Colonel ZAMBO NGUEMA Etienne Célestin, Commander of the North-West Gendarmerie Legion, who died in a tragic road accident on Tuesday 27 May 2025, in Bamenda.

The HIGH COMMAND pays tribute to the memory of this outstanding Senior Officer and extends its deepest condolences to his family.
