
With an average of 16.15/20, this Officer of the National Gendarmerie came top of the 46th Practical Training Course for Gendarmerie Officers (SAOGN).
During a nine-month training, from 17 March to 14 November 2025, in the National Gendarmerie Officerβs Academy(EOGN), the Second-Lieutenant ABDOULWAHAB BEN AHMAD demonstrated exemplary discipline, rigour and tenacity. He stood out with mastery among the 103 trainees from Burkina Faso, Republic of Congo, Central African Republic and Cameroon as well.
Born on 5 May 1999 in NgaoundΓ©rΓ©, this native of the Adamawa region attended the Government Primary School of the National Gendarmerie where he developed his passion for Armed Forces. Indeed, he was exposed to the military barracks and benefited from the civilβmilitary outreach activities of the National Gendarmerie. He is single and holder of a Masterβs degree (M1) in sociology from the University of NgaoundΓ©rΓ©. He plans to pursue a PhD.
His interests include television debates and swimming. His role model is Brigadier General Housseini DJIBO.
Graduated from the 39th batch of EMIA christened “Unity and Patriotism”, where he was second of the batch, he is posted to Squadron 60 in Garoua and is embarking on a promising career.
