Since 18 September 2025, young Cameroonians have been flocking the Command Posts of the eleven Gendarmerie legions to submit their applications before the deadline of 26 December 2025.
At the Centre Legion Command Post, the excitement is noticeable, with hundreds of candidates turning up every morning, driven by the desire to serve the nation with honour and loyalty.
Verification of applications, individual interviews and practical advice punctuate this first stage of a competitive and selective process, the aim of which is to select candidates capable of responding to the current challenges of human security.
