The investigation led to the arrest of a suspect in the Bonaberi neighbourhood in Douala. The outlaw was arrested in possession of an automatic pistol, loaded with 10 ammunitions. The Gendarmes seized several electronic devices of doubtful origin, as they searched his house.
The interrogation of the suspect at this Gendarmerie Unit, revealed that he is the gang leader specialized in armed robberies, thereby terrorising the Simbock neighbourhoods.

The Yaounde II Gendarmerie Company Commander, Captain MBIDA Thomas, seized the opportunity to call on the population to closely collaborate with the Gendarmes for more tip-offs.
The suspect was brought before the law to be held accountable. An investigation is ongoing to dismantle the gang members at large.
