From 21 to 23 March 2026, the operations carried out, sometimes based on intelligence, led to the arrest of several dangerous individuals who were spreading terror.Also, bladed weapons, psychotropic substances and other dangerous items were seized.

Two young men specialised in the consumption and sale of dangerous psychotropic substances were caught fisrtly, in possession of a large quantity of indian hemp commonly called “taille” and “caillou”, Laptops and other items were also seized.

On 23 March, at around 4 am, three other young men, aged between 19 and 26, suspected of several cases of assault and motorcycle theft, were arrested at a place known as ELF. A thorough search conducted on the outlaws led to the discovery of a long knife concealed in the trousers of one of the suspects. The Bajaj motorcycle used to commit their crimes was as well seized.

The same day at the Ndokoti roundabout, a receiver aged 31 in possession of two telephones REDMI and an IPHONE was arrested while searching for buyers.

The interrogation of all these suspects is ongoing at the Douala Gendarmerie Services, where an investigation has been opened.
