While trying to escape, the criminals hid in a hut where they were caught. They were identified as MBAÏ GODO Innocent, aged 26, DJENAÏSSEM Bertrand, aged 25, and DINGAOBATEM Jean, aged 23, who are all foreign nationals.
They were found in possession of a hunting rifle with four rounds of 12-gauge ammunition, three knives, a machete, a spear and a bow and arrows.
The suspects were taken to the Tchollire Gendarmerie Company Headquarters for questioning.
After questioning, they will be brought before the military state counsel of the Garoua military court.
