During the night of March 29 to 30, 2025, patrol elements from the Yaounde 2 Gendarmerie Company arrested three suspected criminals specialized in taxi-related assaults. The arrest took place in the Biyem-Assi neighbourhood, precisely at “Rond-point Express”, shortly after the suspects committed the offense.

The Third Gendarmerie Unit Commander Course started on 02 September 2024 and ended on 14 February 2025. It was attended by 60 trainees, including 52 Cameroonians and 08 from sister countries; Burkina Faso, Cรดte dโIvoire, the Central African Republic and the Republic of Congo.
59th Youth day: The National Gendarmerie actively engagedin activities of the Yaounde youth village
As part of the activities to mark the 59th Youth Day, the National Gendarmerie, alongside the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC), is engaged in activities aimed at sensitizing secondary and high school students on Violence in schools at the Yaounde Youth Village, taking place from February 1 to 11, 2025, at the esplanade of the National Museum.
