On Thursday 24 April 2025, between 11:00 and 12:00, the emergency services of the 301st Fire Company of Garoua raided the Camp Chinois neighbourhood to raise awareness among those involved in the sale and storage of flammable liquids.

On Monday 21 April 2025 between 12:00 and 14:00, personnel from the 301st Fire Company of Garoua carried out a raid in the Loperé neighbourhood of Garoua to sensitise the population on the phenomenon of fuel storage in homes.
Very early this Saturday at around 4.00am, emergency services from the 201ᵉ Douala fire company were called to a serious fire in a mattress manufacturing business, located in the BP Cité district.
