On Wednesday 26 March 2025 at around 4.50pm, the emergency services of the 302nd Ngaoundéré Fire Company were alerted to two people who had fallen into a well in the Selbé Darang district.
It was 9:45pm when the emergency services of the 201st Fire Company in Douala were alerted to a fire in the AKwa neighbourhood, in a place called Camp Yabassi.
