Refresher course in roadside rescue for personnel of the 301st Garoua Fire Company
From Monday 30 September to Tuesday 1 October 2024, personnel from the 301st Fire Company in Garoua received refresher training in roadside rescue.

The first day was devoted to theory and knowledge of the equipment, while the second was devoted to carrying out a practical manoeuvre.

The scenario involved a traffic accident with an incarcerated victim. The manoeuvre consisted of uncoupling the vehicle and extracting the victim from the rear.

– Securing extrication techniques

The manoeuvre was carried out within the allotted time and the learners’ ability to deal with emergency situations was enhanced.
