Road rescue at the Avenue des Banques crossroads in Maroua.
On Saturday, 09 December 2023, emergency services from the 401st Fire Company in Maroua were alerted to a collision between two motorcyclists at the Avenue des Banques crossroads in Maroua.

One young man, aged around 25, suffered a fractured left leg, while another, aged around 24, was seriously injured.

The latter were evacuated to emergency at Maroua regional hospital by firefighters.

We wish them a speedy recovery!
