Shop fire, SOKOTO district in Kousséri.
On Monday, April 15, 2024 at 9:15 p.m., the emergency services of the 402nd Kousséri Fire Company were alerted to a shop fire in the Sokoto district of Kousséri.

When the emergency services arrived, several shops were on fire in mini-containers with the risk of spreading to a garage and on a high-voltage line.

The action of the emergency services consisted of first stopping the spread of the virus, then putting down the flames. There was no loss of life, however, significant material damage caused by the incident, which was brought under control with a hose.

It is recommended to follow the fire safety instructions regularly issued by firefighters.
