On Wednesday 07 May 2025 at around 1.25pm, the emergency services of the 302°C Ngaoundéré Fire Brigade were alerted to an overturned tank wagon leaking gas oil following the derailment of a freight train bound for Ngaoundéré. 05 wagons were involved, 03 of which contained petroleum products.
