STUDY MISSION OF THE 21ST CLASS OF THE SIMBOCK ESIG IN BRAZIL : Operational Excellence and Commitment to peace
From the rigor of operational airborne operations to the demands of peacekeeping, the seventh day of the Simbock ESIG 21st Class study mission highlighted the readiness of forces serving both the Nation and the international community.

This Tuesday, July 07, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, the delegation was received successively by the Parachute Infantry Brigade (BdaInfPqdt) and the Joint Peace Operations Center of Brazil (CCOPAB).

The morning began with a visit to the Parachute Infantry Brigade, the spearhead of the Brazilian Army’s rapid response capabilities. Airborne by nature and deployable by essence, this elite major unit is trained for swift intervention across any part of the territory. The visit illustrated the critical value of a rapid reaction force that successfully combines mobility, flexibility, and high-level combat readiness to defend national sovereignty.

In the afternoon, the delegation proceeded to the CCOPAB, a key joint and interministerial institution. This center is responsible for training military, police, and civilian personnel prior to their deployment in UN-mandated peace operations. The student officers gained insight into the strict demands of this specialized training, which blends the law of armed conflict, civilian protection, and multinational coordination to ensure maximum professionalism.

This seventh milestone demonstrated that operational excellence and a dedication to peace stem from the very same military culture, rooted in discipline, thorough preparation, and a profound sense of duty. Once again, it reaffirms the outstanding vitality of the military cooperation between Cameroon and Brazil.
