The finals were attended by the representative of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Ngana Emily, the president of FAP women basketball, Colonel Léopold Émile Nlate Ebalé, Commander of the Cameroon Special Forces, the President of the Cameroon Basketball Federation, Samuel Nduku and a large crowd of basketball enthusiasts eager to witness the season’s grand finale. FAP and Overdose contested the senior women’s final, while the senior men’s trophy was disputed by FAP and MC Noah.
In the senior women’s final, FAP produced a commanding performance to overwhelm Overdose with 91 points against 61. From the opening minutes, FAP imposed a relentless pace, combining defensive solidity with clinical finishing. Overdose struggled to contain FAP’s offensive firepower as the gap steadily widened throughout the encounter. The emphatic 30 point victory reflected FAP’s superiority and crowned a season in which the team consistently demonstrated why it remains one of the dominant forces in Cameroonian women’s basketball.
The senior men’s final proved far more dramatic. Facing a determined MC Noah side, FAP had to dig deep to secure a hard-fought 71–67 victory. The encounter remained closely contested for most of the game, with both teams exchanging baskets and refusing to yield ground. However, FAP displayed greater composure in the decisive moments, converting crucial scoring opportunities and tightening their defence to hold off MC Noah’s late surge and grab the trophy. The narrow four-point margin highlighted the intensity and quality of a final that kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
The season came to a fitting close with the presentation of medals and cash prizes to both the champions and runners-up, while the coveted trophies were handed to the victorious teams. A group photograph thereafter immortalized the moment, bringing the competition to a memorable conclusion.
By lifting both trophies, FAP completed an unforgettable double and reaffirmed its status as a powerhouse of Cameroonian basketball.
