The Director General of Gabon’s Military Engineering Corps visited the Cameroonian Military Engineering Corps.
The Director General of Gabon’s Military Engineering Corps, Brigadier General OYOUGHOU Gabin LEHOUNDA on Tuesday December 5, 2023 visited the Cameroonian Military Engineering Corps to savour from the know-how of this prestigious entity whose services are put at the disposal of the community and the Defence Ministry.

In a one-hour exposé the Director of the Cameroon Military Engineering Corps, Colonel Kamgain Jackson sold out the technical and intellectual prowess of the men and women of his Corps with regards their operational organization in the conduct of work and most recently, the fight and sensitization against Improvised Explosive Devices.

In his presentation, Colonel Kamgain Jackson pointed out Some of the done and dusted projects by his Corps which include; the presidential gift of leisure grounds (Parcours Vita) in the towns of Garoua, Douala, Bamenda, and Ngaoundere, with Kribi, Edea and Bafoussam being the next targets.

He equally mentioned the construction of the Sangmelima market, the construction of classrooms in the Far-North under the Agence Francaise de development project, the construction of a building to serve as the English section of College de la Retraite of the Yaounde Arch-Dioceses, the building to host the new Command Post of the Engineering Corps, the Invalid Centre for military personnel, the construction of roads, bridges and a lot more.

Brigadier General Gabin OYOUGHOU LEHOUNDA in satisfaction expressed his total satisfaction with the activities of the Cameroonian Military Engineering Corps and expressed the need for the urgent implementation of the South- South Cooperation between Gabon and Cameroon.
