MINDEF receives in audience the Vice-Minister of Defence of Equatorial Guinea.
The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Beti Assomo Joseph on Tuesday May 21, 2024 received in audience the Vice-Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea,

Major General Candido Nkogo Engono Nchama at the conference hall of the Ministry of Defence.

 

Major General Candido Nkogo Engono Nchama, special guest of the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces was accompanied by the General Defence Chief of Staff, Colonel Juan Moises ANDA ELO who was also the head of the mixed detachment of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea who performed yesterday at the May 20 boulevard.

The in-camera audience had as objective to appreciate and transmit the felicitation message of the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to the entire delegation and also to the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, H.E Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Speaking to the press after the audience the Vice-Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, said the meeting was centred around fine-tuning the bilateral cooperation between Yaounde and Malabo, which is already on a good footing as the presence of the detachment of the National Defence Forces of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea as special troop of honour speaks for itself.
