In a church service at the hospital chapel, Rev Onana Koa Didier, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon stressed in his homily the will of God ‘who gives and who takes’, a reason for mourners to feel comforted with the departure of the church elder. ‘We mourn but we do not mourn like those without hope’, he said.
Among those present to pay homage to the fallen hero were the Grand Chancellor of National Orders, Philemon Yang, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Etoga Galax Yves, government ministers and a cross section of the military high command.
