This operation led to the arrest of many suspects who were terrorizing the towns of Mbalmayo, Mfou and Akonolinga.

These alleged bandits have been charged with aggravated theft, attempted rape, possession and use of enhancing drugs.

The alleged criminals are currently being interrogated at the Akonolinga Gendarmerie Company, in view of breaking up the entire ring and referring the suspects to competent courts to hold them accountable.
