SPECIAL PARADE CEREMONY AT THE SECOND GENDARMERIE REGION
On Tuesday 29 July 2025 at 08 am, Brigadier General EKONGWESE Divine NNOKO, Commander of the Second Gendarmerie Region presided over a special parade ceremony at the courtyard of the Mboppi National Gendarmerie Camp.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers of the Second Gendarmerie Region stationed in the city of Douala, including the Commanders of the Littoral and the South-West Gendarmerie Legions, as well as officers, non-comissioned officers, enlisted and civilians, except those on duty.

The ceremony kicked-off with the flag hoisting ceremony, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel NKONDJE MBELLA Yves, Commander of the 2nd Mobile Squadron Group in Douala.

In his speech, the head of the Second Gendarmerie Region recalled the challenges the Gendarmerie will have to handle in the days ahead, he invited his colleagues of all ranks to demonstrate discipline and professionalism in the performance of their duties.

He seized the opportunity to welcome the newly posted Student Gendarmes at the Second Gendarmerie Region, and reminded them of the expectations of the High Command towards them.

This was followed by a security assessment meeting, which was also attended by Gendarmerie Brigade Commanders and Commanders of Motorized Road Platoons in the city of Douala.

The special parade ceremony ended at around 1pm with a group photograph.
