Since 27 September 2025, Cameroon has been buzzing with the electoral campaign for the presidential election of 12 October 2025. To ensure the smooth running of this event, the National Gendarmerie has taken the necessary security measures across the entire national territory.

The National Gendarmerie has set up a security system throughout the country that requires everyone to show their credentials, in order to prevent any disturbance to public order before, during and after the presidential election.
