FIGHT AGAINST ORGANISED CRIME AND LARGE-SCALE BANDITRY: THE NTUI GENDARMERIE COMPANY AT WORK
As part of Operation Tentacles, the Commander of the Ntui Gendarmerie Company carried out combing and control operations in the Mvoundou neighbourhood and the surrounding areas of Yangafork I and II in the Mbam and Kim Division on 18 May 2026.

The operation focused on several targeted actions, including the deployment of personnel along high-risk roads and identified hot spots, systematic checks on individuals, vehicles, and motorcycles, as well as targeted searches of suspicious homes and locations.

As a result, 18 people, including one woman, were arrested. A consignment of 18 cartons of various counterfeit pharmaceutical products was seized from a store in Voundou town. In addition, approximately 120 grams of cannabis packaged in small and large wraps and stored in bags, three suspicious motorcycles, and a bottle of cannabis seeds were also seized.

The suspects and seized items were taken to the Ntui Gendarmerie Company for further investigations.

The area is currently enjoying a climate of serenity following the operation.
