7th Logistics Practical course: trainees on a study visit at the National Gendarmerie
Under the supervision of Colonel YENDE Godfrey SAKEH, Commander of the School of Logistics in Douala, 105 Officers of the National Gendarmerie, the Army, the Air Force and the Navy attending the 7th Logistics Practical Course undertook a study visit in the Central Services of the National Gendarmerie, on Thursday, 14 November 2024.

This visit focused on the Central Department of Administration and Logistics

(DCAL), where they learnt about its structure, organizational chart and missions.

Specifically, trainees heard two briefings that increased their awareness of the Technical and Logistics Department (DTL), and the Department of Administrative, Financial and Land Affairs (DAAFD).

After the briefings, they visited the Coding Bureau and the Signals Centre of the Central Services. The visit also included a workshop on road safety equipment and hand-held scanner facilitated by DTL, a workshop ran by the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the National Gendarmerie, a workshop on weapons, and a workshop on anti-terrorism equipment, facilitated by the Multipurpose Intervention Regiment of the National Gendarmerie (GPIGN).

The visit ended around 06:30 pm with a group photograph and a cocktail.
