Presided over by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie (SED/CGN), Mr Galax ETOGA, and attended by the Minister of Secondary Education and Generals, the ceremony marked the completion of several months of intensive training characterised by high standards, discipline, and reinforcement of the trainees’ operational and technical capabilities.



The BA1 enrolled 50 trainees and achieved a 100% pass rate. Warrant Officer NSOGA NSOGA graduated top of the batch with an average score of 16.88.
The 20th CAT3 brought together 986 trainees, of which 966 passed, representing a pass rate of 97.97%. Training modules included Criminal Investigation, Law Enforcement and Counter-Terrorism Operations. The top graduate is Staff Sergeant ZIWA Abel Steve, who obtained an average score of 16.89.



In his address, the SED/CGN urged the BA1 graduates to play an active role in revitalising the Territorial Gendarmerie. He also called upon all award recipients to embody the values of discipline, integrity, professionalism, and dedication in the daily discharge of their duties.



In recognition of excellence and effort, the National Gendarmerie boss granted the highest-performing graduates from both courses the privilege to choose the formation in which they wished to apply the valuable knowledge and skills acquired during their training.
