FIGHT AGAINST HUMAN BONES TRAFFICKING: THE SOA GENDARMERIE BRIGADE NABS GRAVE DESECRATORS
On 25 May 2026, acting on reliable intelligence, officers of the Soa Gendarmerie Brigade arrested two suspects: Dongmo Voufo Jinail, aged 26, and Kesseng à Dong Emma Basil, aged 21.

The arrests took place at Tsinga village, near Soa, on the premises of an EPC church under the pastoral care of Pastor Leimegne Roger, aged 57.

During the operation, the suspects were found in possession of human remains, including four skulls.

They were subsequently taken into custody for further investigation and interrogation, with a view to establishing the origin of the remains and the exact circumstances surrounding their possession.
