FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS: THE NATIONAL GENDARMERIE ALWAYS READY FOR ACTION
In response to numerous complaints and an increase in attacks on the inhabitants of Makak, in the Nyong and Kelle Division of the Centre Region, the Eseka Gendarmerie Company Headquarters, led by Captain BASSIROU carried out an operation, with the support of gendarmes from the Badjob Gendarmerie Post, targeting notorious drug trafficking locations.

The courtyard of the High Command for Gendarmerie Schools and Training Centres (CECIG), at Camp Yeyap in Yaounde, hosted the graduation ceremony of the 53rd Batch of student Gendarmes on June 5th 2025.

Student-Gendarmes of the 2022 contingent promoted to the rank of Gendarmes.
After spending a year of training at the Armed Forces and Gendarmerie Training Centres and another probationary year on the ground, Student-Gendarmes of the 2022 contingent have been promoted to the rank of Gendarme, as from 03 June 2024.
Capaity-building : the National Gendarmerie trains its personnel on gender-based violence.
