Acting on reliable information, staff elements of the Yaounde II Gendarmerie Company broke up a gang of criminals.
In a bid to curb the ever increasing number of fatal accidents on our major roads, the National Gendarmerie is stepping up its road safety surveillance system with the use of drones.
With a view to ensuring the operational readiness of intervention and law enforcement units, 182 Gendarmes from two squadrons of the Centre Gendarmerie Legion, namely 100 from the First Squadron Group and 82 from the Mfoundi Territorial Gendarmerie Regiment, are undergoing refresher training at the Advanced Law Enforcement Training Centre (CPTMO) in Awae. This will last from October 7 to October 15, 2024.

During the night of September 30 to October 1, at about 01:40 a.m, elements of the Gamba Gendarmerie Post, led by the head of this unit, carried out a horrifying seizure.
On Monday, 21 October 2024, elements of the Tsinga Gendarmerie Brigade raided a place called “Sous-préfecture Tsinga” around 9 :44 pm. This operation led to the arrest of three individuals aged 24 to 44, including a lady, who make a living producing fake local and foreign currencies.
With the aim of stepping up the dynamic surveillance of road networks in the country, the National Gendarmerie plans to reactivate its Traffic Flow Control Patrols.
