On Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 August 2026, the Cameroonian National Gendarmerie hosted a four-member delegation from the Algerian National Gendarmerie, led by Commander HOUD RECHDI.
As part of ongoing efforts to restore public order and combat insecurity, elements from Squadron 42, in coordination with the Abong-Mbang Gendarmerie Company Headquarters, conducted a raid operation on 11 August 2026 at 6:00 a.m. in Zoguela village, precisely in a place known as Bidigue in the locality of Atok.
As part of Operation “Tentacles”, the Bertoua Gendarmerie Company carried out a sweep operation on 15 August 2026, in Tongo Gandima, Ngoura Sub-division.
Deployed from 6:00 a.m., over one hundred gendarmes fanned out across various sectors of the locality to curb criminal activity and foster a secure environment conducive to a peaceful back-to-school period.
