
CO-OPERATION : ALGERIAN GENDARMERIE DELEGATION VISITS CAMEROON

As part of ongoing efforts to restore public order and combat insecurity, elements from Squadron 42, in coordination with the Abong-Mbang Gendarmerie Company Headquarters, conducted a raid operation on 11 August 2026 at 6:00 a.m. in Zoguela village, precisely in a place known as Bidigue in the locality of Atok.

As part of Operation “Tentacles”, the Bertoua Gendarmerie Company carried out a sweep operation on 15 August 2026, in Tongo Gandima, Ngoura Sub-division.
Deployed from 6:00 a.m., over one hundred gendarmes fanned out across various sectors of the locality to curb criminal activity and foster a secure environment conducive to a peaceful back-to-school period.

The Remembrance day to pay tribute to the Defence and Security Forces, veterans and former military personnel who died in the line of duty was celebrated on 14 August 2026, in a drizzle – a sign of blessing.

Acting upon reliable information, the Baham Gendarmerie Company carried out a large-scale operation to combat drug trafficking from August 5 to 12, 2026. The operation resulted in the arrest of 21 suspected traffickers, aged between 22 and 60.
