Under the theme “Social Dialogue and Decent Work for a Peaceful Cameroon,” the civilian personnel of the National Gendarmerie actively participated in the 2025 International Labour Day celebrations.

As part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking, the Douala 1 Gendarmerie Company conducted a sweep operation on April 25, 2025, targeting neighborhoods known for the sale and consumption of psychotropic substances, notably Bonadibong, Deïdo, Mboppi, and Bessengue.

As part of preparations for the 53rd edition of Cameroon’s National Day, to be celebrated on 20 May 2025, the Reunification Monument Boulevard has been transformed into a training ground where the National Gendarmerie is rehearsing its grand march past.

The Canadian School of Yaounde is a private bilingual school tailored to both Cameroonian and Canadian French and English school systems. In line with the Cameroonian school curriculum, the school organized a week-long event from 09 to 14 December 2024, during which a number of companies and other specialists presented their trades to students, with the aim of sparking vocations among them.
Invited for the occasion, the National Gendarmerie presented its history, missions and different career profiles.

Under the auspices of the SED/CGN and the President of the Cameroon Bar Association, a meeting was held on 3rd December 2024 at the Central Services of the National Gendarmerie.

Warrant Officer NGONO Martin, head of the Nkoabang Gendarmerie Post, initiated an investigation after a tip-off that some individuals were planning to break-into the home of a school principal in the Nkoabang neighbourhood, precisely at “Bitotol 11ème arrêt”.
