Biographiy
Lieutenant-Colonel KADREY Abdiel is a graduate of the “Abdoulaye Oumarou Garoua” batch (2002-2005) of the Combined Services Military Academy EMIA) in Yaounde .
After serving briefly in the Rapid Intervention Battalion, he was assigned to the National Fire Brigade in 2007. He did his basic officer training at the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) in 2008.
He alternately assumed the functions of Deputy Officer of the 101 Fire Company of Yaoundé and Deputy Commander of the 10 Fire fighting Group. He was engaged in an external operation in 2018 as a military observer at MONUSCO.
Commander of the 20th Group since 31 March 2020, he is an expert in fire prevention, and holder of Staff Diploma as well as Emergency Operations Commanders Certificate obtained at the Institut Supérieur d’Etudes de Protection Civile (ISEPC) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVE SET FOR THE COMMANDER OF THE 20th Fire Fighters Group
The 20th Group is a territorial formation of the National Fire Brigade whose area of command covers the South-West and Littoral Regions. This sector represents the largest coastal part and encompasses the various types of risks identified in Cameroon, as it is the largest industrial fabric in the country. There, we have the economic capital and several historic towns.
The Rescue Centres are located in the towns of Douala, Kumba and Nkongsamba. The main operational activity is
firefighting. To carry out its missions, the 20th Fire Fighters Group lay emphasis on the following activities:
