Biography

Holder of a Teacher’s Training Diploma in Physical Education and Sports, Lieutenant-Colonel DJAOYANG DJORWE Patrick was trained at the Ecole Nationale des Officiers d’Active (ENOA) in Thiès, Senegal and a graduate of  “Captain Boniface SAMBA DIONE” batch.

After his basic fire officer training in 2008 at the Paris Fire Brigade, he was assigned as an instructor at the National Firefighter Training Centre and later on appointed Director of the said Centre.

Commander of the 40th Fire fighters Group since February 2018, he is a holder of Staff Diploma and is an expert in fire prevention and also , he has a certificate of aptitude as Commander of Emergency Operations obtained in 2017 in Burkina Faso.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVE SET FOR THE COMMANDER OF THE 40th FIRE FIGHTERS GROUP

To compensate for the firefighters/population ratio which is 01 firefighter for approximately 11,000 inhabitants, the 40th Group aims at training Young Firefighters and employees of certain companies. The objective is to popularise first aid procedures so that the trainees serve as relay to fire fighters wherever they are.

In addition, in order to raise awareness among the people of its area of command, the 40th Firefighters Group makes the media a permanent partner. As such, a journalist is permanently on board during major interventions and exercises.
