On 29 May 2023, elements of the Ndogbong Gendarmerie Brigade arrested a 22-year old alleged drug dealer. In fact, at exactly 8 p.m, the Littoral Gendarmerie Operational Centre (COG) notified the Brigade of a call received through 113 from a user who had just been assaulted by young men in MAKEPE MISSOKE. A patrol was immediately deployed to the area. Having met the caller, he led the finest detectives of this unit to the place where he was assaulted at around 8:25 p.m. As they approached an old building, Gendarmes were surprised to see many people running away. After a chase, they managed to arrest one of them who had a plastic bag containing 63 wraps of cannabis.

The arrested suspect who is currently questioned at the brigade, is not willing to cooperate. According to the brigade commander, he will be remanded in custody, pending his appearance before the competent State Counsel on 2 June 2023.
