Four teams competed in football. The Second Gendarmerie Region (RG2) defeated the Multipurpose Intervention Regiment of the National Gendarmerie (GPIGN) by 04 goals to 03 in a penalty shoot-out. The First Gendarmerie Region (RG1) team defeated the Fourth Gendarmerie Region (RG4) team by 1 goal to nil.
In basketball, GPIGN team won RG5 team with a score of 56-50, and RG1 team defeated RG4 team by 78-28.
In handball, the High Command for Gendarmerie Schools and Training Centres (CECIG) team defeated the Fifth Gendarmerie Region (RG5) team by 33-22. The Central Department of Coordination (DCC) team won RG4 team with a score of 31-27.
Lastly, in volleyball, the Multipurpose Intervention Regiment of the National Gendarmerie (GPIGN) team defeated the Fifth Gendarmerie Region (RG5) team by 3 sets to nil, and the Technical and Logistics Department (DTL) team won RG4 team with a socre of 3 sets to nil.
The basketball, volleyball and handball finals will be held on Thursday, 02 November 2023 from 7 a.m., at the SED residence stadium and the Camp YEYAP stadium.
The climax of the 2023 edition of the SED/CGN Cup is scheduled for Friday, 03 November 2023, at the Yaounde Military Stadium, at 10 a.m. prompt, with the football final, followed by a solemn award giving ceremony.
