From 17 to 25 February 2024, numerous national and international companies from all sectors will be present at the esplanade of the Yaounde Conference Centre for the PROMOTE 2024 International Trade Fair. The aim for all these companies is to heighten their public profile and to promote their activities and services.
Fight against drug trafficking among the youth: The Mbalmayo Gendarmerie Company busts a suspect majoring in the sales of drugs in school environments.

On 16 February 2024, as part of its regular clean up operation, the Mbalmayo Gendarmerie Company was informed that a young boy in school uniform with a red backpack had intruded into the premises of Government Bilingual High School Mbalmayo-Oyack, with a view to selling drug tablets to students.
That same day, staff elements of the Mbalmayo Company raided the school premises in order to ambush the suspect.
Fight against large scale banditry: the first Gendarmerie Region buts some fifteen dangerous criminals majoring in motorbike theft, snatching and drug trafficking.

With the rise in drug and narcotics consumption, the National Gendarmerie has stepped up its fight against these scourges across the national territory.
Fight against large scale banditry and organized crime: the Ntui Territorial Gendarmerie Brigade get things in order.

Acting on information, the Ntui Gendarmerie Brigade conducted a series of raids from February 03 to 07, 2024, under the supervision of the Ntui Gendarmerie Company Commander. Consequently, a gang of criminals majoring in motorbike theft, burglaries, sale of Indian hemp and illegal possession of firearms was broken up.
Activities to mark February 11: The National Gendarmerie educates the youth as part of the 58th youth day.

Gendarmes have established a tradition of working with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, as part of the National Civic Education Programme through Moral, Civic and Entrepreneurial Rearmament (PRONEC-REAMORCE), to reach out to young students, pupils and associations, in order to educate them on today’s scourges.

Completion of the investigation Director course for National Gendarmerie Officers.

On Wednesday January 24, 2024, the Advanced Criminal Investigation Training Centre (CPPJ) hosted the closing ceremony of the 33rd Training Course for Investigation Directors for National Gendarmerie Officers. The 45-day course was attended by 25 trainees, including 22 men and 3 women, with the rank of Sub-Lieutenant to Major.
